HOUSTON, May 11, 2004 – GuestBridge, Inc., has announced the launch of GuestBridge Restaurant Solution 5.0, the newest version of the company’s industry-leading restaurant guest and reservation management software application.
GuestBridge has expanded the software’s functionality and flexibility by offering four enhanced, mix-and-match modules. This approach gives restaurants the option of purchasing specific features or a complete, integrated package. New pricing structures also enable customers to acquire the software solutions they need at manageable monthly rates.

Flexible software solutions to meet varied needs
The GuestBridge Restaurant Solution’s four modules -- Restaurant Reservations, Restaurant Operations, Communications and Online -- meet a wide range of restaurant needs.
- GuestBridge Restaurant Reservations, the core application, provides complete restaurant reservation and guest management, a range of inventory management options and in-depth reporting capabilities.
- GuestBridge Restaurant Operations adds table and server management features to better track restaurant activity and provide guest information when and where it is needed.
- GuestBridge Communications provides a central location for restaurants to manage communications campaigns and frequency-based loyalty programs.
- GuestBridge Online delivers guest database backup, Web-based management reports and online reservations.
Each of these modules includes a number of enhancements, such as the new, more extensive event management capabilities in the Reservations module.
The Communications module represents another breakthrough marketing innovation for the hospitality industry. It is the only marketing tool of its kind today that features centralized customer communications and loyalty program management capabilities.
“Customers asked us to create a tool they can use to develop customer communications, track related restaurant visits and manage frequent diner programs,” said Schrock. “While some of these features were already available, we have consolidated them in our new Communications module for easier access by managers and staff.”

Communications services for time-crunched restaurants
In addition to its software products, GuestBridge is now offering a suite of related Communication Services to help time-constrained restaurants. GuestBridge will implement communication campaigns, such as thank-you notes and birthday and anniversary reminders, for customers who want to take advantage of the guest information in the GuestBridge Restaurant Solution but do not have time to do it themselves. “We have found that many of our customers want to communicate more regularly with their guests, but don’t have the time or staff to do so,” said Schrock. “By offering these services, we can ensure that our customers’ guests receive regular, personalized communications that keep them coming back to the restaurant.”
