GUESTBRIDGE ACTIVATES ONLINE MESSAGE BOARD FOR RESTAURANTS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE KATRINA
Set up to facilitate information exchange between
restaurants and their displaced staff
Access the message board at http://katrina.guestbridge.com
MILWAUKEE, September 1, 2005 – GuestBridge, Inc., announced today that it has created an online message board http://katrina.guestbridge.com for restaurants affected by Hurricane Katrina to communicate with their staff, many of whom are now scattered across the region. Restaurants are attempting to locate employees – to ensure their safety and to forward unclaimed pay checks.
“The unexpected severity of this disaster is preventing restaurants from communicating with their staff. Some of our customers have contacted us to ask if we could help them to publish information about the disaster recovery effort and to get in touch with their employees,” said Lewis Schrock, CEO of GuestBridge, Inc. “We hope this service will assist in the rapid recovery for all restaurants impacted by the hurricane.”
Restaurant owners and employees can go to http://katrina.guestbridge.com and join discussion groups for their particular restaurants or for general information about disaster recovery efforts. There is no charge for joining a discussion.
