Update to Online Message Board for Restaurants

MILWAUKEE, September 7, 2005 - The response to the Restaurant Hurricane Message Board has been overwhelming. The generosity and support you’ve shown is a testament to the hospitality industry.
We wanted to let you know of some new developments on the message board. You may access the board here: http://katrina.guestbridge.com

• Many restaurants around the country are listing temporary or permanent jobs they have available. Postings are organized by city, and we encourage you to add to this list if you can.
• The New Orleans Hospitality Workers Relief Fund has been established with the assistance of Brennan’s of Houston. Donations can be made through the Greater Houston Community Foundation, www.ghcf.org.
• When the time comes for reconstruction, GuestBridge has pledged to send our technical and engineering staff to New Orleans for 10 days to help the hospitality industry re-establish its technical infrastructure. This includes setting up networks, firewalls, computers, installing software, etc. Restaurateurs needing assistance or wishing to help can contact us at support@guestbridge.com.
