Wait lists are a necessary evil for most venues. You have names and party sizes, listed in order of arrival. Over the course of the shift, most of the parties get seated and operations proceed smoothly.

But sometimes your staff's best efforts are in vain. Names get crossed off the list inaccurately. Or the host's best guess at a wait time is way too short. Some parties disappear, and half the time they take your coaster pagers with them. Unhappy guests mean an unhappy staff, and if everyone's unhappy, your revenue can be impacted.

The industry's most accurate wait time calculation, based on number of seated tables and when they will turn, number of reserved tables, number of waiting parties needing tables of the same size, number of parties on the reservation list, speed of current shift and historical trends by shift and day of week.
See exactly how long each party has been waiting, immediately next to the wait time they were quoted. The system will flag parties who have been waiting near or over their quoted wait time.
An Inactive Wait List keeps records of formerly waiting parties who have been seated, who have canceled, or who have not shown up after they were called for their table.
Put guests on the wait list for future dates, creating a "stand-by" list in case of cancellations. Since you've gathered their contact info, you can call them if a reservation opens up.
VIP parties can be moved to the top of the wait list as you see fit.
Put a link on your website so that parties can add themselves to your wait list online for "click-ahead" seating.
